The Offseason Velocity Program consists of developmental phases similar in timing and intensity as that of professional baseball players in their off-seasons. The Offseason phase from November 2nd to December 19th provides the foundation to velocity improvements that will be apparent in March. This phase consists of weight training specific to the ages and movement quality of the individual athletes and progresses to full body power training. Getting stronger, more mobile, and more powerful as a throwing athlete is the primary focus of this phase and will be built upon in the subsequent phases of the Pro X Velocity Program.
